Prof. Chen Ke-ji, MD 
 Prof. Chen Ke-ji, MD., He is the first generation specialist of integrative medicine in China, the Professor of Medicine of Xiyuan Hospital and Institute of Gerontology, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. Prof. Chen is the Chairperson of Academic Committee for TCM Modern Research Center to Peking University and serves as the Director of Integrative Center for Cardiovascular Diseases in China-Japan Friendship Hospital. He was elected as the Academician of Chinese Academy of Science in 1991 and Member of Presidium Group for Academic Division to Chinese Academy of Science in 2004. He serves as the Advisory Panel Member of Traditional Medicine to WHO since 1979. Prof. Chen is the Vice-Director of Expert Group to Central Health Care Committee, Honorary President of Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine. He was one of the chief researchers of the studies on ” Coronary Heart No.II”, and the first clinical applier of Ligustrazine in treating acute ischemic stroke and studied its metabolism of anti-platelet and thromboxane. He has proposed and systematized over 30000 more original medical archives of the Qing Royal Palace. Prof. Chen has won ten awards of National/Ministerial levels. Albert Einstein World Science Award was given to him by World Cultural Council in 1989; the first term of Li-Fu TCM Academic Award was given to him in 1994,  the First Grade Prize of National Science Technology Award in 2003 and the International Contribution of Chinese Medicine Award by World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies in 2007.

Brief Introduction of Academician Li Lianda

 Li Lian-da, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shengyang, Liaoning Province. He was born in July 24, 1942. He graduated from the clinical medicine Department of Peking Medicine University and worked Xiyuan Hospital, Chinese Academy of Science of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he was engaged in the clinical practice, studying and teaching. he is an author of 17 monographs
and 240 papers, a winner of more than 20 awards, including 1st and 2nd Class of National Science Development Awards, a developer of more than 70 kinds of new drugs and awarded 18 certificates of new drug, a tutor of many postgraduates and post-doctors as well as an invited presenter of traditional Chinese medicine in USA, Japan, Germany, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Because of the contribution to the research and development of Chinese materia medica, He was appraised of China Awards for Science and Technology Development in 1999. He was elected the Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2003.

    He is the top researcher of Chinese Academy of Science of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dean of College of Pharmaceutical Science, Zhejiang University, the evaluation committee of State science and technology prizes, the evaluation committee of State new drugs and health care products, the committee of Chinese Pharmacopoeia commission, as well as executive member of the academic societies and the editor of journals. He is the delegate of National Congress of the 7th CPC and the National Committee of the 8th, 9th, 10th CPPCC. He is also executive member of Engineering Department of Medical Science, Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Academician Li Lian-da, by the long-term research and clinical practice, has been gaining outstanding achievements in promoting the development of pharmacology of Chinese medicine and advancement of science and technology. As a famous scientist in the field of TCM, professor Li illuminated the connotation of “XueYu Zheng” (a term of traditional Chinese medicine, roughly about the symptoms and signs of blood stasis), elucidated the principle in the therapy of “HuoXueHuaYu” (roughly about speeding up blood flow and dispersing blood stasis). He developed more than 30 new drugs including “DiAoXinXueKang” and “GuanXin” and gained the clinical results and economic benefits. He is the winner of the First Class of National Science Development Awards.
 He is a pioneer of “TCM combination Autotransplantation of MSCs via Cardiac Catheter on Myocardial Infarction”, he cuted a new way to stem cell transplantation which can solve a tough problem about myocardial deregeneration in medical world.
 Since the 70’s 20th Century, he established the some new animal models and experimental methods, and then evaluation and technical standards of pharmacodynamics of traditional Chinese medicine in 1990, which was extensively used in China. He made tremendous contribution in the development and advancement of TCM researching.
